Company’s history
Kosmotive was founded in 2014 to improve Maternal and Child Health in Rwanda and throughout Africa. We save lives by increasing access to menstrual, maternal and child health information and products, and access to healthcare services to people who currently don't have access to it, using publication of Kosmos Magazine, KosmoHealth App and Helpline, Storytelling and Socio-economic empowerment for marginalized women in Rwanda_ through our Fashion Incubator making Kadablah collection of maternity and nursing wear for empowering parents and enabling breastfeeding, and KosmoPads reusable sanitary pads for investing in girl's education, women’s health and the planet, one pad at time.
Kosmotive has a team of over 25 years of experience tech, media and health experts. We recruit freelance writers with every new issue and artisan women as well as seamstresses on every production season. Kosmotive has impacted 134004 lives since June 2014. Kosmotive is based in Kigali, Rwanda.
KosmoPads
KosmoPads are cost-effective, breathable, and highly absorbent reusable menstrual pads made in Rwanda. Each one is designed for maximum leak protection and comfort, with durability tested for up to 120 washes. Our eco-friendly dignity kits reduce menstrual waste and make menstrual hygiene management more affordable and accessible. We distribute KosmoPads to women, girls, and institutional partners across Rwanda, the DRC, the Central African Republic, and Kenya.
KosmoWear
KosmoWearables is our sustainable maternity and nursing wear brand made in Rwanda. Crafted from eco-friendly textiles, our maternity clothes and washable nursing pads offer comfort, support, and care for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
KosmoHealth
KosmoHealth is a platform for individuals tracking their menstrual cycle and learning about reproductive health. Key features include personalized cycle tracking, educational content on reproductive health, and a platform to share personal stories or comment on others’ experiences. The app allows users to log their cycle and health information at any time and receive insights, tips, and alerts tailored to their reproductive health journey.
